Galerie Larik is a vibrant meeting place in the heart of Utrecht, run by gallery owner and cultural entrepreneur Oscar Larik. Since its opening in 2019, the gallery has established a strong position within the Dutch art world. What began on Utrecht’s Nachtegaalstraat, continued in its own premises in the west of the city. In November 2024, Galerie Larik found its new home on the Oudegracht, right in the center. This accessible location is an important step towards even greater professionalism and visibility.
Oscar Larik combines his passion for art with cultural entrepreneurship. He owns the café next to the gallery, where he offers a protected workplace to people with disabilities. He also organizes festivals and exhibitions outside the gallery walls. Gallery Larik provides a stage for diverse art forms and media, with innovative, visually stimulating and challenging exhibitions. The gallery also does not shy away from questioning art itself.

The gallery works with both permanent and guest artists, where young promising artists and established names are both given a platform. The gallery presents a diverse range from socially critical to conceptual works. In addition, the gallery offers room for experimentation, both in the art itself and in the way it is presented.
